    No rain here Sophie thank God........far too cold for that. You can swap your bikini for some skiing gear when you get home.

    Since you've been away, we've swapped our coalition government for a new coalition of the IMF/EU/ECB and a nice Indian chap called Chopra is running the show now........no it's not Dr. Deepak Chopra, we're not completely mad yet.......but given the way things have been heading, his services will probably be in demand soon.

    The polar ice cap is still melting.......but not to worry, those parts of Ireland that don't end up flooded will be a perfect natural habitate for polar bears, seals, caribou, artic foxes and hares once we have all emigrated.
