Default Favourite Comedian of all time

Reflecting on things that always cheered me up the first person that came to mind was Dave Allen and never missed his shows and sketches. Yes brings back some happy memories

Have to agree with you there. Another who always made me laugh was the great Tommy Cooper, not strictly a comedian but so funny. Least favourite is that Scottish pratt, Billy Connoly, can't understand him at all.

gotta agree about Billy Connolly Never forget guys used to play tapes of him in concert for weeks on end in a hospital ward I was in laughing aloud at same fucking jokes as I was trying to get a converse with my gorgeous gf at the time just cant see the humor in this shithead each to their own anyway Benny Hill was the best for me along with Kenny Everett u sadly u dont see humor like this now Benny gets the nod as best ever...

Yes Dave Allen was great - way ahead of his time - he really stuck it to the church - can't think of anyone better though Dermot Morgan in Father Ted was fantastic - died too young.
