Ipad: Anyone got one?

Yea Ive had one now for a month. I love it as well easy to use fits in your handbag or manbag. Its sim free so I put in an Irish one in for Ireland and a UK one for NI so no roaming. As for it being like a big iPhone thats rubbish I can do far more on the iPad than my iPhone but everyone to their own. If you have any other questions just PM me.

With no USB ports and not able to run flash I think that says it all for me really, not worth the money.

I suppose until they come out with a second or third gen one I’ll stick to the laptop.

forgot to mention that Blackberry are bringing out a rival to the iPad called the Playbook, not sure about USB ports but it will support flash. The first rollout will be only WiFi compatible so if you travel a great deal or want to use it out and about, sorry you'll have to wait.

I haven't gotten one yet, but I am thinking of it. Poked it and loved it. I fell in love with 11" Mac Air. It was adorable.

That was my thinking too.

If you think back, the early Macs were a bit of a disaster as to what you could actually do with them.

Apple are genius marketeers - they know there were will be people who will upgrade after every release.

I am a dedicated Apple user, but I also know NEVER buy the first gen of anything Apple, they do and will within 6-12 months release an upgraded version of the product. I am waiting for the Ipad Gen 2, I want a use mine for live video streaming, so I can turn clients into instant porn stars.
