I tend to trust and forgive too easily. It just my character. But when trust is broken it hurts, and one feels like a fool. Its kinda like falling in love. We get hurt but we go off and do it again ...and again... and again...

I suppose a bit of skepticism is necessary when meeting new people, as sometimes first impressions can be misleading, in both a positive as well as negative way. I suppose most of us typically do want to make that first step towards trusting someone else, but it's the decision to take that step which must be measured. We've all been burne before by trusting too much or too fast; I suppose the best we can do is exercise a bit of judgment about it, and hope that we're right more times than we tuen out to be wrong.
