Are multiple profiles allowed?

I really does depend on the situation. Generally there would be a warning not to do this again, but repeated profiles, could lead to temp or perm bans.

I see no reason why someone should be allowed a duplicate profile. What benefit are they contributing to EI.
I say the rules should be changed and you should only be allowed 1 profile. Simples.
Surely this would reduce alot of the shite that goes on around here.
Ban them .... ban them all.... bring back corporal punishment and hanging and stoning and the chain gang and lets have a bit of real street entertainment.....

Its absolutely nothing to do with populairty etc. If the userid is clearly created to stir up trouble, etc, then thats one thing, if its a joke, thats antoher thing. Your asking me to answer on hypothetical situations, there is no clear cut, its a judgment call sometimes.
