Are people ungrateful to the Catholic Church?

Have people become ungrateful to the Catholic Church because of a few bad eggs.
They educated generations, kept hospitals going etc.
Should we forget the good because of the bad?
Are we ungrateful?

They molested and killed orphans who had nobody to turn to or look up to. Their education is a load of shit. Me? Ungrateful? I had this lot copped from the day they started hitting me because i didnt want to learn Irish.

I would say the majority of people do engage in the pomp and circumstance whether regulary of on occassion (wedding, funerals baptisim etc).

When you say "The priests" as if they were a singular being is language used by many persecutors (The Jews, The Blacks, The Gypsies etc).

They have made mistakes and are "slowly" learning from them!
Where is the corruption specifically aside from the issues such as womens roles,homosexuality etc.
Those issues are their views and they are entitled to them whether or not you disagree with them.

Do you know any worldwide organization that does not have large funding.
To think that if the Church gave away all its wealth it could survive as an entity in this day and age is un realistic!
