If, instead of Ginger, the OP had used the phrase "dark skin" or something worse, folks would have been queuing up to condemn. Instead, they want to have a go at folks with ginger hair.

Why is that form of prejudice OK? Are people with ginger hair less deserving of respect than others?

What minority will come next?

Just to ward off cheap shots, I do not have ginger hair - even before it all went grey, it was never ginger.
