    Default Evolution vs Creationism

So are people here of the mindset that...."Evolution is both fact and theory. Creationism is neither"

    or

Do you think aong the lines of....."Evolution is a bankrupt speculative philosophy, not a scientific fact. Only a spiritually bankrupt society could ever believe it. ... Only atheists could accept this Satanic theory."

So does that mean if i believe in Evolution that im a satanist but would'nt this go against my belief in scientific basis for Evolution if i believe in Lucifer or the hoofed one as a plausible entity....?????

Evolution may not be perfect, but it is very plausible. Creationism/Intelligent Design on teh other hand is a joke.

As time goes on I find it harder and harder to reject Darwinism. As human knowledge grows, it provides continuing support for this model. But no model is perfect.

Creationism, on the other hand, is destined to become a minority quack belief

Creationism/ intelligent design is a belief. In other words it takes faith in order to believe it. Personally, I think people can believe what they like as long as they do not go on about it all the time.

Evolution is a theory based on analysis of evidence. However, like any theory it would be possible to analyse the evidence while arriving at an alternative explanation.

To be honest I find the zealots on both sides of this arguement equally ridiculous and annoying.

I wonder what would have happened if Darwin didnt come up with the concept of natural selection in his book Origin of the Species would we still be letting priests tell us what to do?
