    Default Guilermo del Toro ..Genius

Film4 just showed 3 of his films, the most beautiful of the 3 is Pans Labyrinth, you have to check it out for Halloween, but they missed his best The Orphanage,I cried like a baby during that one ,so for a different ,visual film experience forget chainsaw massacre et al ,try some very disturbing beautiful cerebal horror this guy is a genius ..enjoy

no they are not, cronos is very stodgy, but devils backbone is ok,he revists that theme to a much better polished film in the orphanage,..that film is mind blowing, along with pans labyrinth

Pan's Labyrinth (2006) - IMDb is a true masterpiece IMO, haven't watched it in a while but guess who'll be watching it again tonight

Guillermo's not doing The Hobbit anymore, he didn't want to live on the world's arse for two years apparently. I quite liked Cronos, but Pan's Labyrinth is absolutely brilliant.
