hey.new to the forum but long time lurker. Anyone here enjoy a lunchtime punt. Must say its a big thrill for me. My problem is that my job is moving me to grafton street so no more D1 punts for me.

Does anyone have any recomendations that would be a ten min walk from grafton st area. The few D2 numbers i have rung seem to be based down near grand canal which is too far to go at lunchtime.

Is it a case that renting apts in d2 is too expensive.any ideas grealy appreciated.PM any recomendations.

Welcome to the site. I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable Dublin punters will be along shortly with recommendations, I'll just add my own take on the whole lunchtime punting phenomenon. For me it isn't a thrill, I have problems clearing my mind, relaxing and enjoying it fully, then back to full on work mode afterwards. So what tends to happen for me is I'm not in the right frame of mind, still lots of work thoughts going on and one of the most enjoyable moments for me tends to be after the sex, when you are coming down from the high and you just relax and start chatting, however with a midday punt, I am straight into work mode again and the coming down is straight into thinking about rosters and budgets etc. again, which should never be the case.

Glad to hear it works and is a thrill for you, building up the steam and anticipation during the work day is also one of the great build ups, unfortunately it doesn't really work for me.

You won't go far wrong with Jasmin. It may be nearer a 15min walk from Grafton St, but it would definitely be worth it.
