    Default What would you do?

I just got a job here and started last month. I work for a big company that has facilities all over the world.

Today, I got a job offer from someone within the company. I would earn a bit more, and make a jump on the career ladder, and I'm 100 procent sure I would get the job if I applied.

Only thing is, I would have to move to Romania.

    Any thoughts?
Is this the land where sun brightly shines, is this the existence of a heaven's sign?
Is this the locus the hallowed focus, where grace love and harmony combine?

I would move to Romania. The food is better. The climate is better. The women look better. Why are you hesitating?

“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Take it. Great opportunity to work abroad and experience a different country.

It would be interesting. Visit first to see how you like the vibe. Great job, more money, but if you absolutely hate the place, well that will negate all good things quickly.

I would go for definite. Been there and it's a lovely country and the people I met were really nice too.

Give it a try. However, if you boss is named Mr. Alucard, has long canine teeth, is a bit pasty-faced, insists on only doing business after dark, and drinks warm blood from the torn throats of still-wriggling peasant children, then I would exercise a wee bit of caution. Just in case.

I fail to see the problem.

Ah, but those stories were written by a Dubliner, and we are notoriously unreliable.

PMSL. Or hangs upside down. You forgot that.

It looks like a beautiful country, and would I be right in remembering you said you were Belgian? Moving country is much that same, just be sure you like the place first. I would take a few weeks holiday there.
