I don't know how bad/good it is this year, but I'd expect all the pubs to be absolutely jam-packed. Perhaps the recession has hit it, I don't know, but it normally gets very very busy in restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels etc. But if you like Jazz of any kind, it is all catered for this weekend in Cork. If you do come down, enjoy.

I didn't even know it is on now. I am a little sick, so I would not have gone anyway, but just a thught: in the future can someone speak about those events BEFORE they are supposed to happen??? Some people like to plan

We need an events' calendar or something like this ....
Repeat after me. October bank holiday weekend, Jazz weekend. Every year...

Obviously if this wasn't disabled https://www.escort-ireland.com/board...o=viewreminder, it could be put in there...

I can repeat it until the cows come home, more likely I will forget it again next year if I don't add it to my schedule

Its a bloody scream. Its called a Jazz Festival and 99% of the music has nothing to do with Jazz. Its badly needed income for the businesses but it will be hit by the recession as well.

    Sincerely,
    Westside.
