does it really matter? i just make up any name and don't really care as long as it's not my own name. i was once questioned by an escort before as she remembered me and just asked her to tell me her real name and I'll tell her mine, 5 seconds she said it didn't matter
I think that it is wrong to give an escort a fake name so I always give a real one - my mate's.
Now, I punt at lunchtime, we share an office and he smokes 60 a day - so I wait till he goes out for a ciggie at about 11:30 and nick his phone.
As long as I remember to leave it somewhere in the coffee room, he never realises what has happened. He's on Tesco prepay so if I delete the call records on the phone and add the occasional top up, he'll never know.
Funny thing though, I think that he is punting himself as a couple of ladies that I had never seen before gave me the distinct impression that they knew the number and were expecting somebody different.
OK, to be serious for a moment, I always give a consistent fake name.

Having a dodgy memory I always give the same fake name.
It just seems appropriate somehow to give a fake name, as for a short while there is this parallel fantasy world we will be entering.
