Angry Who can lead us out of depression?

I feel the Irish people have lost their sense of pride. Are we seriously going to accept that the people who put this country in the depths of shit and imminent poverty are taking an extra day off from the Dáil next week? There has been too many incidents of this government taking liberties while us minnions suffer. Not one manager of a bank has been jailed yet, but how many poor citizens have been jailed for mortgage/loan arrears due to unemployment levels this government has failed to prevent.

I could go on for ever!!

We need a new leader, a new Michael Collins, to uprise against OUR OWN government this time.

    Who would you choose?

Gerry Kelly for Taoiseach of a 32-County Socialist Republic.

He's your man, A Gaelic warrior poet.

If you're thinking of rebelling, expect the rest of the country to sit passively back, watching you get destroyed by the authorities. Think 1798, or 1916. Sorry, but that's the way things work here.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Bad examples as for a rebellion to be started sucessful the few people know about it the better.
There was a good turnout in '98 at least in leinster the issue was is that poorly armed peasants cannot defeat cannon.
The majority did turn out in 1919-1921 and look what was done then, unity is the key.
Look at 1969-1994 when the "men" of the south turned their backs on the sons of Ulster when they rose against na Sasanaigh
The history of Ireland is one of rebellion and resistence its also one of disunity, cowards and traitors.

As for the current crisis it is nothing compared to the past.

I dont know if anyone can lead the country out of the mess it is in but for sure Biffo and his gang are not up to the job.
I think the IMF are going to have to be brought in sooner rather than later.
    The Truth is out there.

Better sooner than later. They will have to treat them like a poor third world country, which in essence is what Ireland is, regardless of where it is located.

RETURNING TO THE EMERALD ISLE SHORTLY
