I love being taken out and fussed. I mean FFS, I don't generally have a problem with sensitive men, but some of this is being taken too damn far. When he starts having more products in the bathroom than me, I do have to question the balance of roles.
Now don't misunderstand me, I want my man sweet smelling, clean and groomed. But not necessarily, plucked, waxed, coiffed, bleached, buffed, manied, pedied, and concealed. That is taking the biscuit and my Mac makeup.

I think what bothers me about the society we live in today is that sometimes men feel the need to be apologetic about who they are.

We're naturally hairier. As a result, there seems to be this marketing campaign telling us that we need to remove all hair on our bodies that isn't on our faces. From wrestlers waxed chests to footballers getting back sack and crack done. And don't forget to moisturise!!! lol If I wash and my skin feels tight, it's because I've washed properly, not because I need Nivea.

We have more testosterone in our bodies. As a result, we can be more subject to certain emotions like anger and the like. This is perceived as negative, when anger can be a huge force for action. Indeed, the lack of anger in this country seems to be indicative of the economic situation we find ourselves in (unlike France this week, for example), but I digress. Anger can be a huge motivator.

We are emotional. Now, I am not a woman, so I'm not going to draw similarities between how intense female emotion is with respect to male, but the fact that males in their 20's have a very high suicide rate in this country is indicative of a problem in releasing their emotions (in my opinion). We get lonely, happy, depressed, elated, all of those things. We should be allowed to show it, just not in a youtube best cry ever kinda way. lol

Men and women are equal. As a result, I will treat them equally. I will open a door if I get to the door first, but it's not because you are female. I expect you to pay your half of the bill unless it's a present. Just as I'm not into overgrooming of males, I don't like overgrooming of females either. I keep clean, shave, keep myself fit, and have been told I smell nice. That's all I need.

I like to be treated with respect and I absolutely will respect you in turn. If I talk to you, it's because you have a brain and I find you interesting, not because I'm trying to analyse you. Most escorts I've met have been genuinely interesting people.

Now all of this is not saying that men and women are the same. We're not. But we are equal.

Ok, before the resident feathers or manes get ruffled and think I am referring to them, I am in the process of watching the current hit TV show-Mad Men. Those ladies are so pristinely turned out, and the gents so delightfully chauvinistic, boyish, unemotional, cliquish, and good old boys clubish, that when compared to the way men behave now, I started to wonder, where did all that un-political correctness go?
Come on guys remember when men where men, and farted with impunity? Do you wish and long for the good old days? Or tell us what it was like growing up during a time when boys ruled? Compare and contrast it with how men are expected to behave now. This should be fun.

Its the mens own faults in alot of cases and its because the women around them have lost respect for them as they became doormats. Do this and that, wear your shirt or shorts etc etc and if he doesnt he wont get sex or she wont talk to him or make his dinner. The hell with that, i do what i want as long as im not hurting anyone in the process.
