I have had a few ghostly experiences during my life the worst of all being when I was very young and in the back bedroom of the house. Just about to go to sleep I heard a howling sound and the curtains on the window started to move back and forward with the wind outside. This thing as I will call it started to float into the room above my bed and was coloured a hazy type of green. It looked like a skeleton only ten times more frightening and continued to hover over me whilst I tried to scream. I could not get a sound out of my mouth and ran for the bedroom door which would not open and this thing then looked round at me again and gradually proceeded to float out the window again. The very next day my Grandmother died. Since then I have come to understand that this was a banshee and this is a scenario I will never forget. Even typing this gives me the shivers.

That reminds me of a few days after my old fella died i couldnt get into the jax. U went back a few mins later and still cou;dnt get in. Other ppl were in the house so i souted to get out out because i wnated to get in. the other ppl came along and stood behind me? So i kicked the door and it opened. My old fella coming back and locking me out of the jax? Dont know but it was weird. So i have a haunted jax.

I did have jelly legs at first but had to crawl out of the bed. I am being honest here and as I said gives me the shivers thinking of it. A couple of years after it happened I went to see a film called Darby O'gill and the Little People and had to leave the cinema at the scene with the Banshee as terrified me.

Hey im not saying it wasnt a dodgey door. Was it as dodgy as the one you tried to open at the end of a hallway when you visted an escort? Hope my recollection is right here. Maybe it was haunted.

    Coming to Waterstones soon.
