OK.......this is obviously a thread that is just trying to wind me up
Cricket is a game of Beauty and Art, Savageness and Intellect, Athleticism and Panache, Grace and Aggression. It is in many ways the perfect sport. The pinnacle of civilisation that mixes brawn with brains.
To deride it is merely to express ones owns ignorance publicly.
Only those that have witnessed the West Indies and Australia at their collective peaks can truly appreciate the history and beauty that is inherent in Gods own game. Malcolm Marshall, Shane Warne, Virender Sehwag, Adam Gilchrist. These men have been Artists, and this to name to name but a few that can demonstrate that sometimes beauty and savagery and intellect and guile and decency and sportsmanship and life itself can be represented in sport at its best.
Was there ever anything better than The Ashes 2005 ? I think not.
