Two things....

1. There is nothing called the "coil system" and moreover, there are more than one type of coil...

2. As a Doctor, did you never learn any spelling? "inserted" and "internally" would have added credibility to your post.

Here is a tip, write your posts in a word processing programme and then spell check them... Might make us actually pay attention. Although, you should probably change your identity too as this one is totally shot....

Oh, I quite like it. There is one small tiny drawback though- doctors generally give the marina or traditional coil to women who have given birth. So I doubt there will be a rush on. In answer to the OP, there are now several types of contraception. One can be inserted in your arm, it lasts between three and five years. Another is a patch, that lasts for 12 weeks. Injection, same time frame. There are many types of contraception, and if you are reasonably proficient in applying a condom there are very little 'leaks'.
