Did you know that 50 years ago

we would be all sitting somewhere maybe reading a book or listening to a radio? No pcs, no tv ,no ipods, no cds, no headphones. We would be just sitting around a fire maybe listening to stories. Eating sausages maybe. No e-i ,no nothing just candle lit darkness and strange sounds.

I remember when i was younger a big group of us used to go the some place in Wicklow. We used to sit around a fire into the darkness of the night ,telling stories and eating bbq food. Not a care in the world. Far detached from reality (i later found out that for quite a few of us this was general detachment and had nothing to do with those nights). Good times though.

I got fed, washed, kissed and hugged. Oh, happy days.

I have an aunt and she would kick any six uncles around. I often felt like grabbing her by her nuts just to see if they are some there. You could light a damp match off her. A nasty bit of stuff. She used sink her nails into me when i was small just to see me in pain. If she did it now id kick her head in.
