    Exclamation Please stop closing threads.

Please don't close threads unless there's an extremely good reason to.

The other thread about mental health was closed... fine. I can't understand why the one about Westside and I was closed. I didn't even want to add anything to it, but I don't know why it should be closed or who gets to decide in their wisdom that a thread should be closed, especially when it's already in Soap Opera. A thread should practically never be closed. And while I'm at it, please don't start removing masses of posts either.

Threads only get closed if requested by the OP or if the mgrs / mods feel it is necessary. We dont close them just for fun.

    Question

Where the hell is the ninebythree topic about an E-I soccer team gone?

I think it's ridiculous. Are the mods starting to get drunk with power again as happened before? I think it's EXTREMELY annoying and disruptive when the mods just decide to delete something, forget all about people who have posted there. The mods should practically never delete things.

Previously the initial mods also got out of control for a while, deleting everything. A good moderator is someone who is in the background that deletes only the things that are CLEAR and obvious infractions against the rules, not things they don't like.

I closed the thread for good reason, which I am not willing to discuss on an open forum. Getting 'drunk with power' is not how we deal with things here. In all fairness, much more goes on behind the scenes that you are aware of, so without sounding rude, I don't feel you are in a position to judge our actions as you will not be aware of the full situation.
