It's not always possible or appropriate to do so, I'm afraid. Please also bear in mind the number of trolls and returning banned users we ban behind the scenes.

It may not be possible to do it for every member that you ban, but for regular posters who incur infractions for minor offences, and then get banned for the three strikes, surely a simple explanation can be provided in one specific location, and avoid threads like this.

I recall sometime somewhere it was mentioned that mods aren't going to ban previously banned members who are now behaving themselves, yet long time posters who are the lifeblood of any healthy message board can get nailed on this 'infraction' bollocks.

Well, it depends on the natuer of the previously banned user. Besides, it also depends on the nature of why the long term user is banned. It works both ways.

Debest is a good member of this forum and his contribution here was and is very welcome . Perhaps someone doesnt like him hence the infractions that he recieved while there are lot worse incidents go unpunished. Deedin is right

what i really hate is you get an infraction from an anonymous source sending in a complaint,on the sly ,you dont know who its from ,you recieve the infraction ,then ban, and you have no satisfaction in confronting this shadow, yet he lurks away in the background, creating shit and never exposed ,fuck me ,theses 2 faced pricks ,probably pm you and consle you on your ban...I love to have the knowledge ,on who are these punters who compain?? I reckon you will find the same names cropping up again time after time
