Im a sucker for a tearjerker. I find myself fighting back the tears at happy parts of a movie ..not to mention the sad.

Indeed. Apart from the physical reasons, emotions are important.
Though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I well-up at the end of Field of Dreams, so it's probably best I don't watch it...

It's not because we are 'men' that we always should be strong. Of course it's okay to cry, it's sometimes very relieving even!

So don't hold back and let those tears flow...

Is this the locus the hallowed focus, where grace love and harmony combine?
