Sometimes a client will ask about the "real health risks" in the escorting scene.

I can only answer as an escort. Like all independent Ladies, I attend the clinic regularly in the Uk and I always read relevant medical articles, leaflets and sexual health forums.

The clinics in The Uk are very informative and offer as much information about safe keeping your sexual health. My particular London clinic offers simply amazing care and I would not hesitate in attending if I thought something was wrong.
I was wondering if clinics are the same in Ireland?

I read today that between 1998 and 2003 STIs in Ireland increased by 243 percent and that even todays figures show the huge rise in STIs is still a steady trend.

They say that the overall population in Ireland are more reluctant, even today, to use a condom.

Does this mean that escorts are at a higher risk working in Ireland?

The real question is, who else are your clients having sex with?
If it's mostly other escorts then you are probably safer here, as bareback seems to much more common across the water.
If it's their wives then it probably makes no difference, as most wouldn't be using a condom here or there.
If it's random women they met in pubs then you are probably better off in the UK, which is what the article you read was probably talking about.
Of course, very few clients are going to tell you who else they are having sex with, but in most cases you can probably make a good guess.

Bareback is definately more prevelant in the UK but you would be amazed at the amount of clients in Ireland that have asked me.....they always have a vision that we are only money motivated and that an "extra" few quid will sway the decision!
You only have to look on AW to see what dangerous escorts are offering it in the UK and, yes, it's the wives/girlfriends I feel for.

I go to Ireland because I like the calibre of client there and I know we always moan about TW's but I never have a dull moment, even when I am being visited by Garda!!!!!
