    Well ... the reserves anyway.

Shay Given had a good game apparently, one of the only pluses for Man City. Reckon Mancini will be gone by Christmas myself

"A lot of football success is in the mind. You must believe you are the best and then make sure that you are. In my time at Liverpool we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside, Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves."

Hodgson has been handed a poisoned chalice.

But he is a great manager, and I can't see anyone doing better with the lack of funds.

Doesn't really matter what Hodgson or Ferguson does, both clubs needs new owners, that is much more needed for both clubs, way above how any clubs does in the Carling Cup. Yes, our second string got shafted by a team from the lower half of the 4th division in the UK. But whether we won or not, we will still need to get our owners out, much more needed than winning tonight.

Oh and I will drink, the evening started so great and ended with another kick in the balls for a Liverpool fan. Ah well. Onwards and upwards.
