Certainly good news if it's true but lets not jump to conclusions......

Is some people in this country were to be believed then every woman in this industry is trafficked and forced to work against their will...............

A total of 15 properties were searched across the UK
So, "15 women working as independant escorts were arrested" could easily be twisted to "15 women rescued from trafficking"

Not saying this is the case but just because something is printed in black and white doesn't always mean it is black and white........

Good point Luther. Unless specific conditions were highlighted or individuals were interviewed it does sound a little hearsay-ish. (is that a word)

I agree with Luther, there's been too much clear lies to take what a lot of these people say seriously and without a huge grain of salt.

I think the important bits here are "were believed".... : "The women, from European Union countries, were believed to have been forced into working as prostitutes in Belfast."

I would frankly just ignore all the bullshit Roy McComb is saying, something funny goes on in these people's minds and they would have E-I shut down in a day if they had their way. Of course this is great news if it is true, and disturbing that they were forced to do anything in the first place.

I do believe that real trafficking might happen but this is a very rare occurrence in Ireland.

Most women know for a fact that they will be working in a brothel but they accepted it because they are manipulated to believe that is very dangerous to work as an independent.

Once the place is raided, they all claim the victim card, afraid they might be put in jail or asked to pay huge fines.

Ireland and NI are places where any of those girls would have just whisper to any of their client "help", the client would call the police after leaving. You can do that here anonymously, so even a client who would be afraid to talk to the police wouldn't have a reason not do do so.

I have to agree with this. Sometimes we get a review where the client is saying the escort seemed uncomfortable or something like that, and we PM say the last 3 reviewers to ask how they found the escort, stating that the reason we are asking is that another review she recently got suggested she might not be happy, and we wanted to look into this further, to check that when they saw her they had no similar concerns, or something like this. I have to say we get total cooperation whenever we ask clients questions like this. Clients in Ireland do not want to support trafficking or other abuses of escorts, and are willing to help when asked for their assistance. This is my personal experience.

I think most of the trafficking in this country are girls of Asian Origin and having said that i think its not a huge number although one is too many.

yes have some knowledge of police attitude towards sex industry ie they generally ignore it. as for trafficking i dont think its a huge problem here. at the same time i get the impression that some of the eu girls may be bullied in the industry. i have visited some of these in the past and they seem way out of they're comfort zone. look clients like to visit a lady who is 100% comfortable with what she is doing otherwise the experience is not worth it. clients who encounter girls who they know are nervous should make use of this forum and reviews to weed out the shady pimps and scum in the background
