Default The acceptability of being a cheat ---------

The time of year is upon all of us whom are self-employed to return our income tax liability.
Does the seemingly acceptable face of being a cheat in love or marriage extend to one of being a tax cheat ?
I am especially reluctant to cough up my remittance in this a year in which has seen such a gigantic handout of unimaginable magnitude of "taxpayers" dosh donated to the unworthy.

Trust me on this, as I work in this specific area, if you are caught evading your tax liability it will cost you a hell of a lot more (both financially and emotionally) than it's worth.

The only part of this badly run country that works well is the revenue commissioners, they are exceptional at their jobs and if they catch you they are like those agents from the Matrix.

Not worth it mate, pay up and sleep soundly.

The taxman, oh strewth. I don't want to even be same thread as the taxman. Seriously speaking, there are only two inevitable things in life, death and taxes. Pay, even if you have to close your eyes when you hand over the cheque.

I love you too Pogs. Unfortunately that does involve a small tax. By the way, I told Monica. She is crushed.

No, it's not the same thing. What if you disagree with the government's indications and say you should only pay 20% tax? Then it is the government who is the cheat.
