Yup. I know several of the older posters on there, go back 15+ years or so with a few of them. It is not the first time they have done things like this either. Some of the posters on there are scarily good.

The issues with the site are a matter of public record but there is no desire to change anything amongst the people that count..

OK, I would put it differently guys.

Rover thread is not new. Even Punterminator has his nostalgia fuelled thread a little while back.
There might be more, as this shows that sometimes people do miss the past, is just human nature.

I understand the way the community works online, interaction being the key.

But if I might be allowed to talk about those things a little less technical and a little more humanly, come in guys, this is Rover we're talking about. We all like this guy, escorts and client's alike. He feels a little unappreciated now, maybe even a little down.

Correct him if you think he is wrong or if he is using too acid words, but please don't put the doggie down.

Well Poggo, you have been a member here since 2006 and have seen quite a few people come and go I would imagine and can make quite an informed opinion on this subject, so I would be inclined to think that when you say you dont think "crap cliques" are running the place "pushing" people out, it is a true and fair reflection.

If others feel this is the case, why not post more instead of complaining about it on a thread. If these people are such "big" "important" "influential" posters, surely they wouldnt be put off by some newbies trying to find their feet and join in with everyone else on the site

Indeed i have and it is an ever evolving entity, to try to hang on to what one considers "the good old days" is a folly, and for the record I have no issue with rover,,it was an ill informed post,,,I ,as SD has said,have done it, and here is the rub this is a forum we are all entitled to our opinions, i respect all, and wish no more than my opinion be respected too,,if anyone feels left out, man up and say "I feel left out" i tell ya you will be surprised by the response...

We don't hear from the decent posters, such as Carlos and a few others as they are being gradually pushed out by this click that moved in six or seven weeks ago, talking pointless crap and literally riding each other. Bring back the good posters that put some meat into their posts.

If you have an issue with how the forum is run take it up with Patricia not with the "crap clique". The idea that this place was much better "six or seven weeks ago" is hilarious.

Ok guys, that's enough. I think this is decending in a bit of a Rover witch hunt and I don't think that's very fair. He's voiced his opinion to which he's entitled...........

I do in a way agree with what he's saying, although I think he may have worded or phrased it a little better........

I don't think people are being pushed out, but perhaps they feel less inclined to post lately. I've made no secret of the fact that I know here are a few previously banned users/trolls that are active on the forum again lately and this is their usual modus operandi, posting a lot of crap that has little or no value to the forum and they do this in every thread, as they did before. It starts of as a little light hearted banter but lately has moved on to, as it did before to provoking and abusing other members. As I've already said, some of these threads and posts have been removed but the trolls still remain. It is this element that I believe Rover is refering to........

This is going back to Ber's problem with the forum also at the moment, althought I believe he was taking the whole thing too far, but perhaps we need a middle ground. I think better use of the gen chat/soap section would perhaps help the situation. I know I've been guilty of posting lots of crap in the past, but lately I've been trying to confine this to the soap section........

Rover is by no means trying to kill the fun here, in my opinion of Rover, he's quite the opposite kind of poster, but I do see his point..........

In fairness to Sensual Delights, I think she's been summing up this thread the best........
