LOL Not only that but they leave leaflets half sticking out of letter boxes. Forget the fact that Romanian women go around ripping the bags open.If you go away for a few days ,everyone knows nobody is home espeicially burglers. 6.00 in the morning i caught some of these pricks throwing stuff in the door cause the dog went apeshite.

Its not just the clothes though. Chippers and pizza leafelets are dumped in ppls doors too. Its actually not as bad as it was before in my place but i just throw them back out onto the street. They are not my rubbish and i never asked for them either.

    Sincerely,
    Westside.

Put a sign on your letterbox saying "no junkmail please".........

I get loads of bills I didn't ask for through my letterbox too........

If you don't want them, either put them in the bin, or preferably recycle them. Either that or simply put a sign on your letterbox saying "no junkmail please".........

Only if they see me. I recycle everything. It costs me time and money to recycle unlike lots of others who put bins out. I have no intention of recycling these leaflets. They are not mine, i never asked for them and appear in my doorway. I have a small letterbox and i dont have the room to write a sentence on it.

I dont agree with what i do but i am blue in the face from bending down and picking these up.

That doesn't stop the bastards , i have one and its useless . Ever tried ringing the numbers on the clothes collection flyers , they don't work , and google the company VAT numbers and surprisingly enough they belong to other companies . If you wanna donate your clothes , drop them into a charity shop !

Forget the annoyance for a min, is what they do legal? Is throwing junk mail of any sort into a persons home ,uninvited, legal? If i have a bag of crisps and throw the wrapper in somebodies doorway its couldnt be legal .There doesnt seem to be that much of a difference especially if its not wanted either way.

You are quite correct EP, they probably don't. I know it's unfair but you may have to put it up in a few languages. Of course this can be unsightly on the front door of your posh new crib.......

Perhaps a small sticker on your letter box like this may help..........

If you're still getting rubbish after this, I'd contact the place the leaflets are advertising, Charlies chipper etc., try not to eat the head off the falla who answers the phone in there, he's unlikely to be the one who actually put the leaflet in your letterbox, ask to speak to the manager, explain your problem to him, again, he's unlikely to be the one who actually put the leaflet there and ask him for a follow up call and explaination as to why this has happened. What you'll most likely be told is that the job of delivering these leaflets to peoples homes is oursourced to a specialised company, if that's the case, ask for a follow up call from them remembering to give them your address. If the company is reputable, it should be able to trace all this back to the person who actually did deliver the leaflet in your letterbox and perhaps that may be educated, and or reprimanded over the incident.......

I know this may seem like a bit of hastle, but unless somebody says something then nothing will ever be done about if and this problem will continue to annoy other people. The soulution for the company and individual may be something as simple as writing down "NO JUNKMAIL PLEASE" on a piece of paper, giving it to the person and telling them, if you see this, then don't leave anything at this address.......

    Hope this helps..............

When you're living in Westville I'd imagine that sort've thing would be common. Get a job, get a flat
