The point is there is no rule on threads changing topic, as you well know from the thread you started, and we were discussing about whether there should be a rule.

Let me give the clear facts on Off Topic.... the rule is

Off Topic Posts
Off topic posts are only allowed in our Soap Opera section.

This is not a rule against a thread changing topic half way through, as you should well know from the thread and deep discussion on Off Topic that you started.

I read this rule a small bit different to you and i might be wrong but here goes anyway. You have a thread on a particular subject in general chat for example and then someone posts on that thread with something off topic it is breach of the rule . I am i correct so far.
The rule says off topic posts and not off topic threads (maybe a typo) . If they wanted to post something off topic on a thread in the general chat ,they cant because they are breaking the rule.

And ber , you must really hate cats and i dont mean the picture type lol

Well that would be any sane persons definition of the rule, but im being told thats not the case, i have asked repeatedly for
management to give me a definition but have so far been ignored. The reason of course is quite plain they dont know so best
in their eyes say nothing than admit they dont know
