Default Found a loop hole in irish mobile phone law

After my discussions with nice earlier on the privacy laws . I found a loop hole on being caught driving with your mobile in your hand . All you have to do is say you were dialling 999 or 112 . Ok and before the dangerous driving lobby that criticising me for posting this , i dont care as ye are visiting an escort website so ye have no morals either lol

yes, but surely if the police were feeling irritable they could check your mobile phone records and say that you weren't you were calling Bubbly Brenda at 7.45pm? Wouldn't it be quicker, safer and just a little bit less devious to buy a hands free set? In the time it took you to look that up you could have installed it, you dastardly law breaker you?

Problem with a handsfree is 9 times out of 10 you pick your phone up to either see who's calling unless the kit has an lcd display or you pick your phone up to make the call which is an offence, I got done for having my mobile phone in my hand, I wasn't on it, not even texting, I was stopped at a traffic lights, by habbit I had my phone in my hand, I heard a tap on my window and it was a motorbike Garda telling me to pull to the side and he done me. I told him and he agreed I wasn't actually using the phone but he said thats not what I am being done for and he showed me on his display the offence clearily says "mobile phone in hand." In fairness I thought it was a bit harsh but he was a right ignorant prick which there is no need for either, I was being pleasent so there was no need for his arrogant stance. The Garda Siochana is full of people with a lot of power on small shoulders

I have 9 points...and no handsfree. But lately I must admit I have stopped answering my telephone at the wheel, I cannot argue succinctly enough and drive.

a car kit costs about €150.00, the fines you have paid the "po po" would have paid for the kit, with a bit left over for you to buy some sweeties and possibly some lovely carbonated drinks.

Surely you would have to describe the emergency to the police? Once they found out it was bobbins, would you not be in the crap even more so for perverting the course of justice?
