    Default First game at the Aviva

    Well the first football match at the new stadium is just over.Utd win 7-1.Fair play to utd for putting out a strong team.

    I honestly thought they would field a youth team but i thought there was a lack of atmosphere at the game...maybe i am being a bit critical seeing as it was the first football game there...

    Its strange really because i didnt think the league of ireland was that poor. But saying that anyone think the united sub keeper looked like smichiel . I made my feeling on the actually stadium known after to rugby. Anyways im going to a proper stadium sunday week lol

    I thought this thread was going to be about the first rugby football game. Instesd it turned out to be the soccer game..........

    Anybody hear the attendance???

    We spoke about the rugby game their already last week, please try catch up lol. The attendance was not far off full house, even georgie boy was laughing at that

    It was a sell out ticket wise but i think alot got lost on the way . I think the tickets were cheaper than 45 as i heard someone saying that the fai got it right for a change
