Yes this is definately a step in the right direction in particular for those living in rural and isolated areas, and especially for the elderly who in the past have been terrorised by those who up to now have ended up being protected by the law.

padraig nally is looking for his gun back i see on yesterdays papers...he was on newstalk ..poor fecker was drove demented by john "frog" ward ...i know he snapped in the end but ppl should have a right to defend their homes and not be afraid to step outside the door.

Yeah but unfortunately if i do take one of these saps heads off with my .22 , i will still have to face a judge who might think if was a little excessive and i might still do time for protecting my land. But i suppose its a start.
