Default Have you ever been guilty of looking at others

have you ever been guilty of looking at others your own age and
thinking, surely i can't look that old? Well...you'll love this one!

My name is alice smith and i was sitting in the waiting room for my

first appointment with a new dentist. I noticed his dental diploma,

    which bore his full name.

Suddenly, i remembered a tall, handsome, dark haired boy with the

same name had been in my secondary school class some 30-odd years ago

could he be the same guy that i had a secret crush on, way back then?

Upon seeing him, however, i quickly discarded any such thought.

This balding, gray haired man with the deeply lined face was far too

old to have been my classmate. After he examined my teeth, i asked

him if he had attended morgan park secondary school .

'yes, yes i did. I'm a morganner! 'he beamed with pride.

'when did you leave to go to college?' i asked

he answered, in 1965. Why do you ask?

'you were in my class!' i exclaimed.

    He looked at me closely.

    Then that

    ugly,

    old,

    bald,

    wrinkled,

    fat arsed,

    grey haired,

    decrepit,

    bastard asked....

    'what did you teach?

LOL sweetie. Sort of reminds me of the reporter who went to old folks homes to interview some of the aged residents there.

He sat down with this 96 year old man and asked him the secret to his longevity. " Early to bed early to rise and everything in moderation" was the answer.

He sat down with a 91 year old woman and asked the same question. " keep interested and active in daily life and alittle drop of brandy each night."

He moved around and all of a sudden saw a very old looking guy sitting in the cornor staring out the window. The reporter went over to what he saw as the most aged resident in the home.

"Hello Sir, i hope you dont mind but i want ask you your secret to arriving where you are?

"Drugs, drink ,gambling and loads of women" came the answer.

Perplexed the reporter asked "and what age would you be Sir?"

    "21"

    Sincerely,
    Westside.

'Tis true you know. Isn't there a line in a song by Garth Brooks that goes something like ... 'thank God for unanswered prayers' ... well I recently met an old girl friend whom I hadn't seen in nearly 30 years and that line from that song immediatley sprung to mind .... poor girl has not worn well! Sigh!
