    Default A good Fred...

What makes a thread good for you? What have been amongst your favourites?
I noticed there about a fortnight ago how popular and engaging the thread on
Depression was and how so many contributed toward it, an unlikely candidate?
I appreciate serious and informative threads and yet I delight at reading a good ol'
thread from our friend, Experienced punter esquire. I won't bother to say what I dislike.

Informative and interesting topics like the depression one you mentioned....i think it gives us an insight into some of the members who post here and the kind of people they are like in the outside world.
I have lived a life of regrets.

Well, a saying goes, "A problem shared is a problem halved".

Sometimes it's good to get things off your chest... other people have probably gone through similar situations and can share their experiences.

what makes a thread good for me is any interesting topic on punting that gives information to the punter, and of cource a bit of humor. A laugh in always good. I wish people would post more jokes
    Best regards Feargal

I can remember about 30 months ago how one member posted about the
old red light area in Northside Dublin. The name escapes me right now.
In the post he explained how it was the largest redlight in the British empire
at the time and how it was thronged with decent lasses looking to entertain
the gentlemen that thronged to the area. Prompted me to look for more information
but i did'nt find much. This carry on must have got up the bishop's noses.
