I think it is quite common and reasonable for staff or mods to ask people to stay on topic at times. Good discussions often come out of threads going off topic, but sometimes it is not helpful when threads are taken off topic. If you didn't agree that people were being discriminated against or whatever else she said, it would have been appropriate to air your views there and then, but I think holding a grudge about it now is a bit much. You don't give people much of a chance?
