Default Must see sights of Ireland

    Hello all

I was hoping for some insider information..at the end of my tour on thursday I am going to take a few days to have a little holiday. I don't have my car with me, and will be leaving from Belfast.
Has anyone got any recommendations for must see sights? Bearing in mind I only have a few days...no replies along the lines of come and see my **** please!

    Thank you in advance

Well, that really is the question. Where is best to go from Belfast? I don't want to be on the train forever..but I do want to see something before I go home

    Hi Lucy

You should head west towards Derry along the north coast.
You will come across some small towns like bush mills were you will find the oldest licensed distillery in the world.
It is also very close to the famous world heritage site, The Giants Causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge and Portrush.
Derry city is only about a hour away from these places where there is also lots to do as well.

Where ever you go in Ireland you will have great time there is always something interesting too see.

Discover Ireland - The official site of Tourism Ireland.

Has links to both NI and Ireland tourism websites. They contain alot of info on what fairs and festivals are on, things to do and see, how to get there etc. Quite a good webpage for this kind of thing.
