    Default Tron Legacy

I'm in two minds about the new tron movie due out the end of the year.
I loved the first movie, visually, story, acting, the whole thing.
They are either going to a brilliant job of it with up to date graphics etc.
But I'm worried they are going to royally fuck it up.

Look at the Matrix and the sequels, the first one was ground breaking, an instant classic and then the next two went completely down the shitter.
Same with sex and the city!

Usually remakes turn out shite so i wouldn't be building your hopes up on this one....

The A-Team was a good re-make. It's very rare they are good. They made a mess of alot of films over the years like The Saint, The Avengers, a few of the Batman films, The Dukes of Hazzard, Starsky and Hutch to name a few.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

I think this one will be different. It looks like it's made by people who care and not by committee, like a lot of movies.

I like Jeff Bridges and I'm hoping he's not just doing it for the paycheck!

I would agree Hollywood has made a holy show of some of the remakes over the years. They can't just leave the classics to remain as classics and go and ruin it for us.

I heard the a-team film has been doing poorly in the box-office in the US,but seeing i am such a huge fan i might take a look...

I've seen the film and I liked it, it's not a direct transfer to film more of a homage.
But they all play the characters really well. There will be a sequel.

Tron Legacy is not a remake and could end up being the second part of a trilogy according to the current Total Film magazine.

I too love the original Tron but would not say it is a masterpiece - it is simply great 80s fun like The Last Starfighter ot the Black Hole. I for one am looking forward to the new movie.
Though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
