    Default worst World Cup ever

Matches for the most part have been awful I wouldnt have continued watching most of them only that I had a pint in front of me! but really this endless feigning injury so called world class players diving for no reason with nothing wrong with them, the clear cut chances bombed a mile over the bar , taking free kicks from way way from the goal(e.g Ronaldo)hoping to get goal of the WC, passing ball back & forward back to me again now back to u terrible terrible refereeing decisions oh FFS
oh ya was waiting for Switzerland cunts for 5 winning selections lastnite for 320euro fucking awful World Cup USA V Ghana at 7.30 think I'll do a bit of ironing tonite

And were the group stages in any of the other World Cups any more exciting ? We're at the business end of it now and it'll only get better . Italia 90 , Ireland drew 4 games and lost in the qtrs , but yet that was great cause it lifted the country because of the penalties . Give it time ep , give it time

A valid point, but when brazil and Portugal draw nil-all, there is something to be said for it being bad. IMO, until they introduce video ref (or at least a system of challenges like American football) and mic-up the refs my interest will remain reduced.

And salary caps for club sides. I know I'm repetitive, but so is Sepp Blatter....

Only a handful of decent games so far, hopefully things will pick up in the last 16.I can't even think of 1 player that becomes a standout star in these finals, euro 2008 had arshavin but can not make think of 1 that is not established.
I have lived a life of regrets.

Indeed. But David Villa has added about 20mm to his price tag...

A few good players came out of the World Cup so far

    Suarez from Uraguay

Alexis Sanchez (Ok he has been around for a while but not in a World Cup)

The New Zealand Keeper didnt do his own reputation any harm

Thomas Muller and the Brazillian and Turkish Germans

    Also seem to be good

Wait now last 16 the likes of Messi and Ronaldo will turn on the style (hopefully anyway)
