Ronnie Whelan made the comment there that all the Irish people would be glad that France were out... Actually I was rooting for France since the start of the world cup, if France get whipped so badly then obviously Ireland are even shitter than we already knew they were. If France had gotten to the final we could have said "that should have been us, we outplayed them".

I feel really sorry for Domenech and all the French. I think he's a great man, intelligent and fair. He even gave Anelka the chance to apologise.
