But I'm afraid I fear you wouldn't be welcomed, because I presume you are offering an erotic massage style service and Ruhama are of course campaigning against this, e.g. Gardai struggle to contain growth in sexual services - National News, Frontpage - Independent.ie, so you'll find doors shut for you because Ruhama wants the public to think that anyone offering erotic massage is a trafficked sex slave etc.

I see the Indo reporters had to visit each massage parlor themselves purely for research purposes of course

    Ruhama attacking massage parlors' now?

    What next sports therapists?

No woman would want to touch a man for money so all sports therapists must also be forced into this line of work, and may even be trafficked

There you are Ruhama your next victem err I mean people to rescue from a life of degradation

How does one register here as a massage therapist?
Opening a business is quite easy but I assume there must be other regulations to follow in this area, certain premise hygiene standards, a minimum qualification level etc …

Any useful links in this regard ??? I cannot find much what I'm looking for, only vacancies and courses.
if your thinking of registering as a massage therapist with the idea of giving happy endings i dont agree with it. There are lots of therapists who have worked very hard to get where they want to go and who have a very difficult time because of all the happy ending stuff. Now im not saying dont advertise and give happy endings but i am saying that its wrong to get registered as a massage therpist for the purpose of offering sexual services.

I didn't think at all I'll be welcomed by offering erotic massages, no. I know I may have to find alternate ways and back myself up with some recognised diploma. At the moment, I am only evaluating options, so info is welcomed and I will carefully consider it. Thanks Pat!

First of all, registering as a massage therapist and giving happy endings is 10 steps ahead of what is happening at the moment in the Irish erotic massage or escorting world. It may be a little unethical to the proffesion itself but not to the clients and certainly not to the Revenue Commisioners who would get money out of me.

Secondly, I remember you used to frequent thai massage shops in Cork?
I assume your oppinion must be kinda new then

Thirdly, time goes by. Maybe I will provide erotic massages with happy endings another 10 years from now... or maybe not, so it's good to consider other options as well.

I for one SD think you deserve a pat on the back for obviously putting alot of thought into your new venture and showing ambition and initiative to enhance your service further. there's nothing wrong with wanting to better and further yourself and offer the best massage you possibly can, well done

Im only giving an honest opinion and if you read it ,youll see my opinion is pretty much constant. Just in the same way as i would tell a girl if she asked me is it a good idea to be an escort, no, i would also say its wrong to register as a masseuse when the purpose of your idea to to offer sexual services. I am only giving an honest opinion.I never said it was wrong to provide what you intent on providing but i did say i think its wrong to become a registered member of a society which does not advocate sexual services.

Yes i used to frequent thai massage shops and i also said too that i think its wrong for them to be giving free advertising on posts here with escorts when they can advertise in the Evening Echo and escorts cant. This doesnt mean i hate thai massage or that i am two faced. Its just me giving my honest view on something.

Speaking of thai shops i no longer go to them and again giving my honest opinion ,i stopped because thai girls are too pushy and think they can ring a guy around their baby finger and i dont like that because im a stubborn cunt.

I understand being honest isnt alway being popular but hey at least i say what i think.

    Sincerely,
    Westside.
