Thread: Papercuts

    Paper cuts are so sore because the cuts are so shallow that they dont cut through all the skin. Instead they cut just far enough down to expose the nerve and nerves are VERY sensitive.

    Looks like being in the red cross for 5 years did pay off :-D

    Your fingers are full of nerve endings (for feeling tits), and paper often has irritants like bleach or ink in it. Plus most movements of your hands are likely to stretch the cut and keep it open...

    You can indeed, they used to issue it to soilders for a quick emergency repair.

    I followed anons advice and superglued my papercut

    the advantages - worked a treat, sealed the cut and stopped it from opening again - good times

    the disadvantages - it stung like a bitch and i inadvertently managed to glue my fingers together - bad times

    (prob more to do with the fact that im a complete numb-nuts when it comes to using my left hand for anything)

    In truth, no i prob wouldnt, but i can see it was the lesser of two evils so thank you for keeping me in the dark about it
