Why dont escorts allow texts???

Always wondered why escorts dont allow (want) texts, is it not modern communication? I can understand that no-one wants a texting session but is it not reasonable to check if someone may be available at a certain time and get a simple reply?
Would be nice to have comments from the other side of the opinion.

I imagine they dont text because they will spend too much time and money doing just that. A good escort could get a heap of texts in a day. Whats wrong with speaking anyway?

11 cents for a text max and probably 15 seconds to reply is it such a big deal? And of course there is nothing wrong with talking but why have a conversation when it might not suit the escort anyway! and surely that takes more time too.

Text can be free depending on mobile operator.I'm with Vodafone pay as you go and it doesn't cost me anything.
I accept texts for general enquieries,some guys may be nervous at first,or not be able to talk at certain times.I've been contacted this way by someone with hearing disability and it worked fine.
If I get silly or abusive messages and way too many of them,I ignore sender and don't replay.

Seems logical to me also, if I am travelling to a place overnight its nice to know that the escort you are interested in is available as the internet is not always available to see an alternative, it seems to be common courtesy also to reply! but the comments from other escorts also make sense!

Some reason escorts do not answer texts:

• -You could tell more about a person from his / her voice and telephone manner then from a text message. This includes also the fact that this person could be just a little bored teenage boy playing silly games (for example).

• -Statistically speaking, the number of people not showing up is considerably bigger then the people who would simply ring. I assume that people who text send the same text to 5 – 10 girls to see what is happening.

• -English language of some escorts may not be good enough to write back.

• -If the escort does not have free texts from her mobile operator, it could get quite expensive. Also extremely time consuming. For you, as a client it is a text then and there. A busy popular escort would get maybe 30 - 50 texts a day. If she would reply to all, then she would be needed to reply back at least 2 – 3 times more to some of the texters, as some people would come back with subsequent question. Show me someone who won’t be annoyed writing 100 texts at least per day.

• -There are things that escorts do not feel comfortable to discuss by text. Things like location for example. Sometime, some more specialised services.

Still, there are many girls who would reply back to a text if the person who sent it has visited them before or if the person who sent the text comes across as genuine, nice and not wasting her time. Asking for an appointment, inquiring about availability is all fine but texts like “how are you”, “where are you”, “how much” would more likely be ignored by most girls. Even if the guy come across as genuine, in case he would have a million follow up other questions by text, the escort would also stop texting back or request the guy to call her.
