This thread is timed very well to coincide with my predicament. Over the last 6 mths. my turtle-neck has become tighter & tighter, until I took my head out of the sand & visited the doc. He's told me I need to be circumcised, I'm 40 for fuck sake !
It's actually painful to pull it back for washing & peeing purposes & getting tighter. No explanation why, it just happens to some of us apparently.
I've researched the whole thing since & it seems that my owl' fella' will be out of commission for up to 2 mths. It's quite painful & when there's stitches in there you don't want accidental horns or morning glories.
Has anyone else out there experienced adult circumsision ? If so can you advise me what I can expect please ? Still waiting for a date for the rpodedure.
Brenda, I've had this thing all my life & have never had negative comment re: hygiene. It's down to the person, not whether it's cut. We were born this way, nature has made it so for a reason.
On the upside my research tells me it'll be more sensitive after the cut,

Hey Nad. Had it done when I was about 17 which is a while ago now. Similar situation, got a bit too tight. Operation was no big deal really. A bit sensitive for a few days, and you certainly won't be thinking of getting much action for a week or 2, but a few nice long baths and a bit of TLC and your little buddy will be raring to go and performing better than ever in no time.
