You are a disgusting human. People like you should be locked up as you are an embarressment to true Irish people.

In answer to the original question, yes of course the Queen should be invited to visit Ireland. She should and would be welcomed by the vast majority.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

In theory the idea is fine, but firstly she wont arrive on our doorstep like a relative ,but will have to be invited. This means we have to foot the bill, and to
be honest we have better things to spend our money on. There is already concern over the presidents budget as it stands and this would shoot the
whole thing to pieces. It would be a state visit, ideally in my eyes if she was to come if it could be in an non offical capacity same as princess Anne
and Margaret have come here even the former Duchess of York.Thing is she is no longer a young woman so i dont think she prob up for traipsing
around the world too much anymore. Also i think the royals are inclined to keep their head below the parapet at the moment as there are rumblings
within the British Public about the cost of the monarchy. Apparently they are getting a 10 million a year allowance but at the moment are spending
18 million with the balance coiming from some contingency fund which will run out shortly so an increase would have to be put before the house of
Commons. The feeling is that in currtent economic climate much like here the British public wouldnt exactly jump and down with joy at the idea of
this, so it puts the PM in an akward situation so whats happening is like we would do here its being put on the long finger.
Personally i think this monarchy thing is past sell by date, the queens speech and the installing of the new Goverment was like something from walt
disney with all the pomp and cermony and all the old geezers in the house of lords wearing their robes. We think the Senate is bad here but the
House of Lords is about a zillion times worse
    Blatant promotion should be outlawed
    but
    Vincent Browne is a Hero

    she should also bring over the following;

    Fergie Duchess of York

    Just look at those puppies

    Princess eugenie of york

    A little mother/daughter duo perhaps

    yours sincerely

I can't see how a visit from the queen would be a boost to the economy as I can't see an influx of visitors from outside of Ireland coming here for it. U may get a sizeable number of foriegn nationals that work and live here going to watch out of curiosity or dubliners similar to the jackeens of 1900 going to see her. I think that the vast majority of Irish would have little or no interest in coming to watch her tour. I know that anytime she was in the north there was bigger crowds at dog races and it did very little for the economy only cause traffic disruption.

If she wants to visit then let her but to invite her would be a waste of taxpayers money. Better inviting Obama or some of the other world leaders which might generate inward investment.

Im open to correction here but I thought Prince Charles did just that on a visit here a few years ago.
As I say I could be wrong.
    The Truth is out there.
