I was not aware of the purpose of the star in relation to the reputation bar at the top. I wonder how many other people knew, before now.
I only asked the question in the first place because I noticed a negative comment(dubious) in my profile settings over a comment on another thread. Then, yesterday, I got a boost to my 'reputation' through the weekend humour thread, and didn't know the 'how'. Thanks to Anon and your good self I am totally clued in now, and don't say "Its about time"
