The World Cup is upon us I'll be running the June Comp 1st round matches every day from 11th to 25th June I will pick 2 matches each day predict home/away/ draw get 2pts and correct result get 3 more pts
After the 1st round the next round for the Comp will be the Quarter Finals 2/3 July Semis 6/7 July then Final 11 July
Get 10 bonus points for picking the Outright Winner
remember 32 teams take part I'll put up the fixtures tomorrow 30 matches for the first round from 11th-25th June
anything to add? I'm logging off now but will answer any Q tomorrow...

the reason I cant do Last 16 round is that these matches will be played straight after the 1st round finishes on 25th June, the last 16 matched will be played from 26th-29th so theres no chance to get the fixtures up & people to get theirselections in...

I see the point that you are making Ex. P, but most of the last 16 fixtures will be known ahead of those games actually being played. Only the last few teams involved will be decided on the 25th. Any of the dedicated participants in the competition should have enough advance time to make most of their predictions and then submit them ahead of the deadline.

I'm a bit unclear as to some of your rules. Are we being asked to predict both the result and the actual score line or only the result?

True.I have looked at the schedule for the World Cup and there are a minimum four days between each last group match and when the qualifiers from those groups play their last 16 matches.So surely that should give enough time for entrants in the competition to post their forecasts.It would be plenty of time for me anyway.

I've included 4 matches from the last 16 Round to be played on the 28th/29th June, sher how could I put up the matches for the 26th/27th June, its 4 matches will be covered in that round thats the decision just gotta be fair to everyone.....

Yes predict the result & the correct scoreline 2pts for result & additional 3pts for predicting correct score
