How did you form your opinion on it....? Just curious as I thought you would have been arguing the other way... that when people have access to escorts that their rate of sexual frustration and crime goes down as has been theorized and documented before.

There might be more cheating, more buying porn DVDs etc without escorts, but more rape? I don't think so. I think rape is a violent crime done by men with a severe problem. I think punters are average men. I don't believe for one second that any high percentage of men who use escorts would turn to rape if escorts were not available. If that were true, punters would be animals and I wouldn't be here serving them.

I have to disagree Nicegirls.......you're suggesting that most or many punters would possibly resort to rape if they did not have access to escorts. I think there is a major psychological difference between a man who pays a woman to give him sexual pleasure and a man who uses sex to dominate and degrade a woman. One is consentual and the other isn't. If there were no escorts, those men in relationships would have to make do with what they have or seek affairs/one-night stands or join swingers clubs. The majority, who for whatever reason, do not have access to physical intimacy with another person, would probably be more prone to depression. Escorts don't reduce the incidence of rape......they do however provide much needed company and sexual release for people who might otherwise be psychologically worse off without this. There is a good debate on another thread about the chemicals released during sex and the psychological benefits of sexual activity.
