The life of a footballer is short, most just want to make as much as they can as fast as they can, once they hit 35 ish its usually the end of their carrer and if they dont get a job in football what else are they going to do.

    Have Stevie G doing barwork

Wayne Rooney working in the local shop

Christiano Ronaldo working as a rent boy

Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.

I think gerrard if will go if benitez stays. No real liverpool fans would begrudge gerrard if he went this summer. He has given the best years of his career, they would'nt have won the fa cup and the champions league during benitez's reign.

in fairness, fabregas did start out at barcelona and has supported them since he was a wee lad so there might be more to it than just money.

it is a shame though, as the whole arsenal team is built around him and the fans worship him. its not as if barca are short in midfield either and i cant see them changing their whole system of play just to accomodate cesc. personally i think it would be a mistake for him to leave(plus it would be a shame to lose him from the premiership)

Yea i agree,if cesc does does leave for barca it will be for footballing reasons and not money.I just don' see fabregas getting int he team, they would have to drop xavi or iniesta and i can't see that happening.

They could play 3 midfielders Messie in the hole and Eto up front with Ibrahimovic (if he is still there) or even play the three up front

Another Arsenal player has left today Fran Merida. He done a Fabregas too early i think. He was a nobody at Barcelona and still hasn't broken through. He'll be a nobody at Atletico. If he stayed at Arsenal for a season or two he'd be a world class player. I don't think these fellows have brains. Reyes when he was at Arsenal was turning inot a great player. H emoved to Madrid and was a nobody untill this season. I didn't hear of him in years untill the europa league run.

What's the point of developing these youngsters if their going to shove it back in Wengers face?
