Default Gay Marraige, where do you stand

We already had a topic on gay adoption where everyone shared their views now on to the subject of Gay marraige. Should two people of teh same sex be allowed to marry or just have a civil partnership or just be a co- habiting couple

As long as the two people are in love and care for each other,i don't see why not.I think with the catholic's churches power over this country on the wane it could defo happen in the next coule of years.
I have lived a life of regrets.

I have a cousin who moved to California who is now married to another man (this was before the referendum which stopped further gay marriages in the state). I'm happy for them. I wish it were possible here.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

My thought exactly GL. as long as two people can consent to be married I have no problem with it. I just hear a lot of people not wanting to give the same staus to a gay wedding if at all. they just want it to keep it traditional with a man and a woman. But in essence marriage is just the joining of two people into one so i dont see the problem.
