I think that the camera pointing at the door is probably there for the escorts security. They has been many incidences where 1 guy has buzzed to get into apartment, but had his mates waiting out of view of the door entry camera then 2/3 guys turn up at the door & assault/rob/threaten the girl. A camera intercom will not record anything. So in case of an atack or assault there is no record of offender.
So probably that camera is put there for extra security for the girl. There are a lots of cases of atacks where a guy comes in and then some more follow and atack girl. Of course not , but i was just making people aware of the fact that its there. A camera intercom is used to check out side for escort security before a client enters the building . The camera was pointing directly at a the client after he walked to the apt. As for it being CIA installation, maybe it got dislodged from its covert location and this was a running repair so to speak. Is possible that someone is using this camera to count how many people enter and leave the apartment .

But why do you think only an agency would install a camera? Any independent could. Independents need safety as much as agency girls. You're jumping to a conclusion about the lady's status that could harm her career if not true. I agree with others that since no attempt was made to hide its presence, then only those planning to commit a criminal act need worry about it.
